Man charged in bicyclist's death arrested again for DUI
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A man charged with driving under the influence in the hit-and-run death of a bicyclist on South Carolina's Hilton Head Island last month has again been arrested for DUI.
The Island Packet of Hilton Head reports (http://bit.ly/2dwGP0H ) that an incident report shows 64-year-old Richard Alford was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he was seen swerving on a road on the resort island.
Jail records show he was booked into the Beaufort County jail Wednesday evening but did not indicate if he has an attorney.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}At the time of his arrest, Alford was out on bond on charges of felony driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in a death.
Those charges stemmed from the August hit-and-run death of 66-year-old Jeff Garske.
