Firefighters pull multiple people from burning Maryland apartment building

Firefighters rescued multiple people Wednesday afternoon from a fire in an apartment building in Adelphi, Maryland that left two people injured.
Prince George’s County Fire and EMS spokesperson Mark Brady told WTTG-TV that two people from the apartment where the fire started suffered non-life-threatening burn injuries and were taken to a burn unit.
Four to six apartments were affected by the blaze, located northeast of Washington D.C. adjacent to College Park, Maryland.

Brady said it took first responders about 30 minutes to extinguish the fire.
