Car plunges from third floor of Calif. mall parking garage, 2 hurt
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}At least two women were hurt, one with life-threatening injuries, after their car fell some 40 feet off a parking garage at a San Diego mall Sunday crashing to the ground below, local media report.
The car apparently smashed through a third-floor guard rail at the garage next to the Fashion Valley Mall, according to Fox 5. Images from the scene showed the car upside-down on the roadway, with one of its doors broken off.
The cause of the wreck was unclear. Paramedics rushed at least one of the women to the hospital.
