U.N.-realistic Numbers?

It appears predictions by United Nations experts that 50 million refugees would be created by global warming before the year 2010 ma y have been a little off... or a lot off.

The most recent data from the U.N. shows that at the end of 2009 there were 43 million forcibly displaced people worldwide. The United Nations says 20 million were displaced by what it calls sudden onset climate-related disasters.

Gavin Atkins of AsianCorrespondent.com points out census figures show some areas that the U.N. listed as most at risk of climate effects five years ago have actually increased in population.

A Sorry Charlie

Former Florida Governor Charlie Crist is still wrapping up some loose ends from his failed independent Senate run last year.

Crist is contrite in a web video as part of a settlement with Talking Heads singer David Byrne, who sued Crist for using the group's "Road to Nowhere" song.

Deja Vu

And finally, Republican Mitt Romney is getting a lot of attention for his slogan and logo unveiled Monday, when he announced his presidential exploratory committee.

But, Romney's "Believe in America" slogan sounds familiar to those who remember a John Kerry/John Edwards 2004 bus tour also called "Believe in America."

A self-identified Democrat e-mailed Politico joking -- quote -- "I mean -- Kerry's slogan? Was Dukakis's not available?"

And as for the logo, the similarity to Aquafresh toothpaste raised some eyebrows with a national journal headline reading -- quote -- "Mitt Romney's Campaign Imagery Not Exactly Minty Fresh."

But the Romney campaign tells Fox News it is getting a lot of positive feedback on the logo.
