SEAN HANNITY, HOST: Liberal media have been feigning outrage for weeks now over controversial statements that are made by conservatives. Now, while on the flip side, Democrats including the president himself have routinely ignored vile remarks made on television by liberals like his favorite mega-donor Bill Maher.

But tonight, we are here to show you that television is merely the tip of the iceberg, because the most amped-up, hateful rhetoric spewed by the left can only be found on liberal talk radio. Mr. President, I hope you are listening, I hope you are watching.

MIKE MALLOY, "THE MIKE MALLOY SHOW," MAY 2, 2011: So, when does SEAL unit six or whatever it's called drop in on George Bush? Bush was responsible for a lot more death, innocent death than bin Laden.

MALLOY, MARCH 1: (BLEEP) you, Breitbart, I am so glad you are gone! Are you kidding me! That's where this comes from in me.

ED SCHULTZ, "THE ED SHULTZ SHOW," MAY 11, 2009: He is an enemy of the country in my opinion, Dick Cheney is. He is an enemy of the country.

Lord, take him to the Promised Land. Will you? I don't even wish the guy goes to go to hell. I just want him to get him the hell out of here.

HANNITY: Joining me now is the author of the bestseller, "Suicide of a Superpower," Pat Buchanan. Patrick J., welcome back, sir.

PAT BUCHANAN, AUTHOR, "SUICIDE OF A SUPERPOWER": How are you doing, Sean?

HANNITY: Well, never ends. Let me go to a few more attacks here, in this case, liberal attacks on conservative women -- which by the way, Bill Maher seems to be an expert at -- just to put, you know, some emphasis on a point that liberals have been so outraged about. Or at least their selective moral outrage.

BILL MAHER, "POLITICALLY INCORRECT," APRIL 5, 2001: About two-thirds of teenagers are sexually active, which -- that's a lot. And some people think that's a good thing. Some people think sex is vile and demeaning. And it can be, but it costs extra -- I'm kidding.

Why do we align abstinence with righteousness? Because to me, it's righteous to answer the call of nature.

UNIDENTIFIED GIRL: I believe that it should be saved. It's something that's sacred, that God intended it to be inside of marriage.

MAHER: Who taught you this nonsense? I'm kidding!

MONTEL WILLIAMS, "MONTEL ACROSS AMERICA," SEPT. 9, 2009: So Michelle, slit your wrists. Go ahead. I mean, you know? Why not? If you want to, or, you know, do us all a better thing, move that knife up about two feet. I mean, start right at the collar bone.

MALLOY, OCT 17. 2008: She's the type of person that would have gladly rounded up the Jews in Germany and shipped them off to death camps. This is an evil (BLEEP) from hell. I mean, just an absolute evil woman.

SCHULTZ, MAY 24, 2011: But you know what they're talking about? Like this right-wing slut, what's her name, Laura Ingraham. Yes, she's a talk slut.

HANNITY: What do you think, Pat?

BUCHANAN: Well, the last one was Ed Schultz my friend from MSNBC. I will say that he apologized for it the next day I believe or that night. And then he was suspend for a week. But there is no question about this, Sean, this reflects simply the cultural war going on in this country. And you've really got the other side doing some pretty nasty and horrible things, when you say that it's a wonderful thing that this fellow Andrew Breitbart has died in his mid-40s. I think that reaches a very low level. And it's a fact of what is happening in our culture. I think years ago, the American culture was really captured by the left. And now they control it. And they now really, they use that power, I think, really to black list, stifle and silence conservatives and others. And they use it to advance their own agenda.

HANNITY: You know, Pat, for the first time -- I'll quote Michelle Obama -- "in my adult life," I feel that there is enough funding, I feel that they are well organized enough. And frankly, they so don't support freedom of speech that the hard left has the ability to take out a format, meaning talk radio. I feel that strongly about it. And I want to know if you think -- because you just lived through this -- you know, and by the way, that's hardly, you know, an isolated comment of your old former colleague and there is a lot more out on him, which I am sure people will be able to find if they are interested. And the question is, do you think that now they have set themselves up to silence conservative voices and will they be or potentially be successful?

BUCHANAN: I think Sean, we are moving in that direction. Look, every establishment enforces its own morality, its own code, its own culture and seeks to stifle and silence dissent to that. That is happening now. It is called political correctness by one term. But the whole objective is to use terms like bigot, racist, nativist, homophobe, all these things which are synonyms for heretics to set-up an inquisition and silence individuals, force them to apologize, get them off the air. They know there is a first amendment, which means all of us have a right to speak. They can't stop that. What they can do, Sean, is take away that microphone that you sit at at home or down there in New York City, or take you away from the camera so that people can't hear you.

HANNITY: Let me ask you this. Because they haven't been able to compete especially on radio, with conservative talk radio because that's the rest of the media. They tried the fairness doctrine, the structural imbalance Think Progresses says of talk radio. They didn't succeed there. So, now the latest strategy is to attack advertisers. And then, you've got the president, he goes out and calls Sandra Fluke. He never calls Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Laura Ingraham. And on top of that, he takes a million dollars from Bill Maher who uses the C-word, T-word and far more vile language, and never apologizes against women. What does that say about the president and the Super PAC not returning the money?

BUCHANAN: Well, let me tell what you it says. What the president is saying is, Bill Maher is one of us. In other words, you cut slack when one of your own does this. And Bill Maher does for a living, as a stock in trade, use the kinds of terms and words about women and others that Rush Limbaugh made a mistake in using and apologized for. They do it as a stock in trade. And this is what it is all about, Sean. In the culture wars, the opposition is saying, look, we cut slack for the people who commit atrocities because the people who are committing them against are the people that we dislike or we detest or we loathe. That is what this whole battle is about. And they are not going after those folks because again, they are one of them or one of us, as they would say.

HANNITY: Wow. I prefer the old "Crossfire" days, Pat. I prefer more speech, passionate speech, debate, dialogue, apparently those on the left want to silence opposition voices. I appreciate your commentary, Pat as always. Thanks for being with us.

BUCHANAN: Thank you very much, Sean.
