And now some fresh pickings from the Political Grapevine...

The Young and the Restless

Young people turned out in droves for Barack Obama in 2008, however a new poll finds more of them are pessimistic about the pr esident's chances in 2012.

The national poll of America's 18-29 year olds by Harvard found 36 percent believe Mr. Obama will lose his bid for re-election compared with 30 percent who think he will win.

Harvard's polling director says of the findings -- quote -- "This survey may well serve as an ominous sign for Barack Obama's 2012 chances and the political engagement of America's largest generation."

Win Lose or Draw

Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich is the overwhelming the favorite of at least one demographic...political cartoonists.

The Hill reports artists say he is God's greatest gift to them since Richard Nixon. Hill cartoonist Chris Weyant says of Gingrich -- quote -- "He's Hanukkah and Christmas rolled into one."

Unhealthy Choice

And finally, a county health agency in Ohio is being told to relocate, because its current building is so unhealthy.

An employee complained to state officials about black mold, bats, rodents, high radon levels and possible lead exposure at that facility.

The building was temporarily closed last year for a flea infestation.

Fairfield County officials say they are working on getting a new building.
