A state legislator accused of using fake names to attack supporters of fracking says he's sorry.
An investigation by Pittsburgh TV station KDKA concluded that Pennsylvania Democratic Representative Jesse White used several different names to post harsh comments about supporters of natural gas drilling.
The comments targeted two specific supporters -- calling them "trolls," "moles", and "dumber than a box of rocks."
The posts even identified one opponent's farm and encouraged people to boycott his products.
The website where the posts were made traced all the names back to White's legislative e-mail address.
Yesterday, White posted a statement on his Facebook page apologizing for what he calls an error in judgment.
Son of a Gun
The eight year old boy who was suspended for biting his Pop-Tart into the shape of a gun is now an NRA member for life.
The lawyer for Josh Welch says a Maryland state legislator paid for the $550 membership.
Josh tells the Baltimore Sun he's not really sure what the NRA is.
Meantime, the lawyer is fighting to get the two-day suspension expunged from Josh's record.
His appeal included renderings of the states of Florida, Oklahoma, and Idaho which he says look more like a gun than the Pop-Tart in question.

And finally, the billboard that was either the best or the worst marketing strategy for JCPenney.
As we told you earlier this week, this tea kettle attracted lots of attention for what some saw as a likeness to Adolf Hitler.
Well, the department store removed the billboard but sold out of the $40 tea kettles almost overnight.
Now the listing has been removed from the JCPenney website altogether.
But if you're in the market for a kettle resembling that German dictator, eBay apparently is the place to go.
Right now there are 56 such kettles listed with the asking price going up to $249.
