Far-Left Attack on FOX News Fails

Another far-left attack on FOX News fails dismally.

Take a good look at this man. He is Hollywood director Robert Greenwald, a fanatical leftist who is obsessed with FOX News. Greenwald directed the absurdly dishonest "Outfoxed" documentary.

A few days ago, Greenwald announced that he would assemble some veterans to object to my telling John Edwards the economy is not responsible for homeless vets; addiction and mental illness is.

Now the reason Greenwald did this was to hammer "The Factor." And he has plenty of time on his hands to do that, since it seems the man cannot get a job.

Why? Perhaps because he presided over one of the biggest bombs in motion picture history, the legendary "Xanadu," starring Olivia Newton John.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CROWD, "XANADU": Xanadu. Xanadu. Xanadu.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Wow. Anyway, Greenwald called two corrupt entities in the press, the Rush & Molloy gossip column in the New York Daily News and NBC News to get coverage of his propaganda. But there was one problem. Greenwald could only round up a very few folks who sadly seemed confused.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: What brings you here today then?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Homeless veterans. What Bill O'Reilly said about homeless veterans. They were…

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: What did he say exactly?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What he…

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: What did he say about them?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: There's no homeless veterans.

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: Are you sure that's what he said? I'm curious. Did you see him say that?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No. Well, that's what was told to us.

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: You didn't hear it yourself?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No.

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: Do you watch "The O'Reilly Factor"?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, I don't watch "The O'Reilly Factor." I heard about — every time he talks, he puts his foot in his mouth.

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: What did Bill say?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He said that there was no homeless veterans in New York City. That's the way I understood.

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: Is that what he said?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I didn't see it. But I got it from my associate that lives with me.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Did I hear it myself?

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No, I did not.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Now I feel sorry for those guys, and we will help them if we can. But it is a damn shame they are being used by bad people, like Rush & Molloy, notoriously dishonest, who printed a hatchet job about the situation today after sending one of their minions to observe what happened.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: Can we interview you?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Interview me?

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: About what?

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: About this demonstration.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I read the news. I'm not a part of it.

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: You're with Rush & Molloy, right?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes.

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: And how did they find out about this?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I don't want to be interviewed.

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: You don't want to be interviewed?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I don't want to be interviewed.

"FACTOR" PRODUCER: But you wanted to interview me a second ago.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I just wanted to ask the guys their reaction.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Well, we called the Daily News with our statement, and they wouldn't print it. What a shock.

And then there's NBC News. What a tragedy. This man, Steve Capus, runs that operation and has totally lost control of it. We called NBC and asked why they would send a camera crew to cover an obviously contrived situation. NBC told us Capus didn't know anything about it. Well, maybe the man should pay attention to his job.

As everyone knows, NBC News hates FOX News because we're kicking their butt around the block, costing them hundreds of millions of dollars. And so the beef goes on. It's usually tedious, but in this case illuminating.

And that's "The Memo."

Pinheads & Patriots

As you know, Bill Cosby devotes his life to preaching good manners, good citizenship and the rejection of the gangsta rap lifestyle.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BILL COSBY, COMEDIAN: You have every right to go in and search. You have every right to read on the child's wall what he or she is reading. You have every right to protect your child.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Well, now Cosby is putting out a rap album himself, entitled State of Emergency. It gets his message across in verse. For this campaign, we believe Bill Cosby is a patriot.

On the pinhead front, meet Buddy the dog, apparently sneaking a snack. Buddy ate his owner's Super Bowl tickets worth almost $2,000. For this outrage, Buddy was banished to the backyard until his owner found out the tickets can be replaced. Now Buddy is back in the house. Buddy is still a pinhead.
