Accused Stalker Sneaks Into Google, Leaves Angry Letter to Co-Founders
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A woman accused of stalking a tech CEO allegedly worked her way into Google's offices last month, leaving an angry letter and book for the company's co-founders, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
Vera Svechina, a 37-year-old San Francisco woman, reportedly followed a visually impaired employee through a secured door March 18 at company headquarters in Mountain View, Calif.
Once inside, police say, Svechina left a letter and book written in Russian outside of one of the co-founder's offices, according to the newspaper's website.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}There was "nothing threatening" about the letter, but it was "angry in parts," Mountain View police spokeswoman Liz Wylie told the newspaper.
Mark Pincus, founder of Zynga, reportedly filed a restraining order against Svechina in February after she allegedly threatened his family.
