GENEVA, Fla. – Fish and wildlife officials say a woman is dead after slamming into a tree while being pulled in an inner tube behind a boat.
Teresa Fulton, 45,of Chuluota was killed yesterday at Mullet Lake Park near Geneva.
Officials say the woman's husband was steering a 20-foot boat but got too close to shore and hit a tree as he rounded a curve and tried to avoid an oncoming vessel.
A child was sharing the inner tube with her but was not seriously hurt.
