I want to talk to you about the fundamental transformation that is happening right here in America. Our government has been creeping ever so slowly towards progressivism for such a long time, we don't even notice it.

But now, we're not creeping anymore, we are sprinting to the finish line. The administration has taken their entire chips stack and just shoved it all in. Government bailouts, government takeovers, giant stimulus packages, energy bill, cap and trade, government-run health care — you name it, they've done it. The president will say he's just being ambitious, but I think it's little more calculated than that. After all, after every major piece of legislation that they are cramming down America's throats, it is being sold to the public as: "It's a crisis, we have to act now. We've got to do it! Well, it's the policies of the past! We've got to act!" Maybe I wouldn't be so skeptical if the president's own Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel had never said this:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RAHM EMANUEL, WHITE HOUSE CHIEF OF STAFF: You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Yes, but I'm the cynic. They are putting a gun to America's head. Pass this or we all die! Yes, they're doing that. That's so strange that they do that, because I think the president is saying that he needs to take his time on Afghanistan, but everything else — rush, rush, rush, rush!

Taking his time on Afghanistan, but they have no problem crafting a massive 1,000-page bill that nobody has even read. No one knows who wrote it. Then it's too late. We find out that the community organizations like the Apollo Alliance, which includes Van Jones and Jeff Jones, the other creator of the Weather Underground, helped craft the stimulus bill.

Gee, that would have been good information to have before we signed it. Would you like to know that beforehand? That Apollo Alliance with the 1960s radicals and communists involved, basically decided what to do with your money. Is there any wonder why it's not working? Or is it exactly the way they designed it? Who elected the Apollo Alliance? The fundamental transformation is coming. It is happening and the president himself promised us it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

THEN-PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE BARACK OBAMA (October 30, 2008): We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America!

(CHEERING)

(END VIDEO CLIP)

There we go. Well, where do you look for it? Everything is happening behind closed doors and the media refuses to look into most of these stories are, so most Americans don't even know what to believe anymore, and that is going to create yet another crisis.

Do you remember Joe Wilson? Most people know him — I mean, if you're a regular working schmoe, you're not able to follow the news all that closely, you know, that Joe Wilson is the guy who called President Obama a liar.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: There are also those who claim that our reform efforts would insure illegal immigrants. This, too, is false. The reforms — the reforms I am proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally.

REP. JOE WILSON, R-S.C.: You lie!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Well, people were appalled, appalled. And he was forced to apologize. And that story, the media covered for days. They made a big deal out of that. They were throwing dirt on the tracks to cover up what the other hand was doing — because while they were all in a hissy fit about that, a few days later, President Obama said this:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

OBAMA: Even though I do not believe we can extend coverage to those who are here illegally, I also don't simply believe we can ignore the fact that our immigration system is broken. If anything, this debate underscores the necessity of passing comprehensive immigration reform and resolving the issue of 12 million undocumented people living and working in this country once and for all!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

OK, all right. So, Joe Wilson didn't lie, but he was wrong and yet he was right, and the president didn't lie but yet he did. I — the president is clearly on a path of covering people who are here. He just wants to make them legal. That way he can say I didn't lie. According to the CRS, "HR 3200 does not contain any restrictions on non-citizens whether legally or illegally present, or in the United States temporarily or permanently from participating in the exchange."

Well, isn't he worried that the country is in a position that isn't really a healthy position, that we can't really cover — what was it — 12 million new people under the health plan? I mean, I think there's still about 20 people left in America when all is said and done that still won't be covered on the current health plan.

What are we doing? Does it make any sense to you? Well, it doesn't to me. So, you have to say, "Well, we're not really trying to cover the poorest. We're not trying to cover everybody. Why are we doing this?" Well, we have to figure out who benefits. Who benefits? Why don't we look at consultants on the issues, like immigration and health care, and see if there is any correlation between the two?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

OBAMA: Your agenda has been my agenda in the United States Senate. Before debating health care, I talked to Andy Stern and SEIU members. Before immigration debates took place in Washington, I talked with Eliseo Medina and SEIU members.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

OK. It sounds like SEIU plays a role here. So, the president is making sure to consult the second largest public employee union in the country before debating anything. Gee, I wonder what it comes to health care. Are we going to get what's best for America? Or are they going to get what's best for SEIU?

The largest nation health care union includes hospitals, nursing homes and home care. They have a budget of $10 million devoted solely to getting health care reform. Wait until you see next week some things on SEIU and how they are just seemingly connected to almost everything.

When it comes to immigration laws, are we getting best what's for America or what's best for SEIU, who has more immigrant workers than any other union and funded the May Day rallies, which demanded May Day — wait a minute, wasn't that a communist rally? What a coincidence.

Anyway, they demanded that the president find a path to citizenship for the roughly 12 million illegal immigrants in America.

In March of 2010, we have a Census coming. Will the president of America talk to SEIU on that as well? I mean, he's already cut out their partner, ACORN. You wouldn't want both of them to go away, would you, America?

Most Americans say we should not count illegal immigrants in the Census, but the union bosses think they should count them. They argue that we have to count all of them.

It's funny, because I was thinking about this today and I think this is pretty close to the same argument we had in Philadelphia during a convention there. It was 1787. We were debating the Constitution. Here is what the debate was: The Founders, despite what revisionist historians want to tell you, wanted an end to slavery — not all of them, not in the South, but most of them.

I've told you on this program many times: Illegal immigration is modern day slavery. These giant corporations hire illegals. Well, these giant corporations, they don't have to worry about any kind of lawsuit. They just cuff their illegal hands off? Who cares, what are they going to do, sue you? They don't have to worry about health care. What are they going to do, sue you? You don't have to worry about granting more holidays off, what are they going to do, complain? Picket? They're illegals! Are they going to worry about minimum wage or workman's comp? No, because illegal aliens don't really have any rights now, do they? They're modern-day slaves.

Yes, we used to call it by its name, slavery. But now, we call it something else: jobs Americans just won't do. Of course, these giant corporations want that kind of labor. It helps them on the bottom line and it's virtually risk-free, especially because the government refuses to really crack down on the practice.

Second in this little pyramid scheme, the unions, like SEIU. Of course, the unions want illegals to be counted in the census. Why? Well, they're the weakest. We're just looking out for them. Of course, they don't speak the language very well, but yet, no one is really encouraging them to speak the language.

These unions are dying on the vine and they need some new blood in the unions. Why? Because they need new people at the bottom end of their pyramid scheme to be able to fund all of the retirement packages that they have. They also need somebody to champion. So, of course the unions are there, because, look at these people, they can barely even speak English. Of course, don't teach them to speak English. The politicians in Washington want them because they also need to stay in power.

Let's go back in history. As we are saying, "No, no, no, don't teach illegal immigration — illegal immigrants how to read or teach people how to speak English," it is funny that it was illegal to teach a slave to read. If they couldn't read or write, they wouldn't know what was right or wrong. They could be used. They could be manipulated. If you couldn't read any news or get any information — well, then they would have to be dependent on someone else.

Gee, that sounds familiar. Where have I heard that before? Oh, yes, that's right. Don't teach people English. Don't require it. You are a racist to even bring it up. Even the Census Bureau printed 13 million bilingual Census forms. You've also heard the argument that slave owners gave to justify what they were doing, they said, "Well, if we can't use slaves to pick cotton, well, the price will skyrocket and the economy will be destroyed. Oh, boo hoo!"

Does that sound familiar? Oh, how about this? These are jobs Americans just won't do, like picking lettuce. Do you know how it will hurt the economy if we don't have these illegal aliens in picking lettuce and picking tomatoes and doing jobs that Americans just won't do? The economy will fail!

Gee, there's two pieces of the slave puzzle. Where is the last one?

Politicians. In my book "Arguing With Idiots," there is a segment on the three-fifths of the human being argument. If I hear progressives rewrite our history one more time on the "I was only counted as three-fifths of a human being," my head is going to explode.

Let me explain to you why they were counted as three-fifths of a human. Slave owners, and the South wanted the slaves to be counted as full human beings, yet nobody treated anybody like a full human being, but they wanted them counted like a full human being. Why is that? Well, I'm sure they just had the best intentions in mind for their slaves. Our Founders must have been the hatemongers, right? That's what we learn in school now. Why else would they want to do that? Because our Founders knew, if they counted every slave in the South as a full human being, the South would never end slavery. They could never overturn it, because the population was so skewed in the favor of the South, especially if you counted the slaves, they didn't want to count the North. The Founders didn't want to count any slaves, none of them, because they could end it quickly. The founders wanted them counted as zero, but the compromise was three-fifths of a human being. That is because the Founders wanted freedom.

Isn't it odd that here we are, transforming the Constitution that they argued about in 1787, and we're having the same damn argument? Now we have new slaves, illegal immigrants, being used the same by the same people, although conditions are not as bad as they were, but it's the same damn argument.

I know, I know. I'm going to be called a hatemonger for this, you know, conversation that we have, whatever. That's fine. They also call people like Benjamin Franklin a hatemonger. Oh, and they said that he was crazy. I wonder if they've said that about me yet.

Yes, Benjamin Franklin was crazy. He was the first real abolitionist. Boy, that man stood up every single time, and in our modern day slavery, I will be happy to be called crazy, right along with Benjamin Franklin. I'll stand right next to him and say, "They should not be counted! I know the game you're playing. They should not be counted. Illegal immigration is modern day slavery. It is for the special interests of politicians, of giant corporations and the unions. Raise the price of my salad, I'd rather have that and sleep at night."

It is tearing us apart right now just like it tore us apart back then. If we make the wrong decision now, it will lead to the same consequences as it did then. In 50 years, will we have to go through another Civil War?

It will continue to tear us apart as long as people and politicians and unions continue to exploit others for their own gain. The leadership of SEIU — they don't care about illegal immigrants, no matter what they tell you. They don't care about their well-being, about their survival, about their health care, their future. They care about new memberships going up, about increasing their pensions, their power. It's all about them.

When are we going to find some people that will stand up and make it about us — as individuals, we, the people?
