Defense Gets Its Turn: Scott Peterson's defense team will present its witnesses today as the penalty phase of the case continues in Redwood City, California. The defense presentation comes just a day after Laci Peterson's mother delivered emotional testimony to the jury about why her former son-in-law deserves the death penalty.

Peterson's parents are planning to take the stand today in their son's defense. Will the testimony from Scott's mom keep her son off death row?
