Some letters now on Wednesday’s Observer about Saudi oil and the Saudi terror connection.

David,
I hope you focus on your own country’s issues, rather than going overseas and bugging my country. We are doing every thing possible to satisfy you guys, and all we hear are just criticisms. I love Saudi Arabia (search) to death.

The Saudis are not the only directors of the Jihadists entering Iraq. In fact, it could be argued that lower-tiered foot soldiers and recruiters are located in Saudi Arabia and are flowing out of there, while the leadership of the "insurgency" into Iraq is Islamic Jihad, headquartered in Lebanon (search) and Syria (search).

How many terrorists and insurgents have been killed (or killed themselves) over the last ten years? It seems to me that, at the rate of 72 virgins per terrorist/insurgent, any intelligent person would realize terrorist Heaven must be suffering a severe shortage of virgins.

Regarding the Saudi's and Osama Bin Laden, we have no one to blame but our own government, White House on down. What you see is the result of the Bush New World Order.

Trillions in oil underneath people ruled by spoiled brats who love to party in Paris… Corrupt Saudi Arabia has been bankrolling killers long enough. Consider quadrupling the price of food sold to them.
