Employees at a Maryland office building continue to express concern after several sightings of snakes were spotted in and around the complex on Wednesday, MyFoxDC.com reported.

Workers inside a Prince George’s County School Transportation Services office in Marlboro, Md., said that the snakes, described to be the length of a pencil, were found in various locations inside the structure, including curled up inside an employee’s lunch bag.

It was uncertain what breed or breeds the snakes were, though WTTG-TV News reported that the Copperhead and the Timber Rattlesnake were the only two types of domestic snakes known to be venomous.

The building has since been sprinkled with “Snake Away” granules and sticky traps were placed next to the doors.
