The United States ranked No. 22 on a list of 235 countries studied for one year in terms of stability and prosperity, and the Vatican ranked first, Reuters reported.

Among the top 10 on are Sweden, the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Monaco, Gibralter, San Marino, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands and the Irish Republic, according to Jane’s Information Group, which carried out the study, Reuters reported.

Among the bottom 10 are Gaza, the West Bank, Somalia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Ivory Coast, Haiti, Zimbabwe, Chad, the Democratic Republic on Congo and the Central African Republic, Reuters reported.
