U.K. Newlywed Charged With Murdering Wife, Dumping Body in Garage

A recently-married man whose wife was found strangled in their garage has been charged with her murder, Sky News reported.

The body of 25-year-old Vicky Roberts was found dumped at their home in Runcorn, Cheshire, on Thursday.

Michael Roberts, 26, was arrested three days later in Wrexham town center, north Wales.

Police picked him up following a tip-off by a member of the public.

The pair married six months ago in Vicky's home town of Warrington.

Officers were called to the couple's home shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday and discovered Vicky Roberts' body in the garage.

A post-mortem examination revealed she had been strangled.
