The most interesting guest in my small mind was Stephen Dubner (search), author of "Freakonomics." The book is in around the No. 1 spot on The New York Times Bestseller List and I am sure you would find it simple and yet fascinating. Questions answered on our show ranged from how McDonalds is like selling drugs to how sumo wrestlers are like teachers.
As for the show, we led all three hours with Howard Dean's (search) leadership qualities as chairman of the Democratic National Committee. He makes it fun, but I agree with Dick Cheney (search) who said Dean is essentially a guy only his mother could love.
And, of course, we had to learn how bad Americans are for locking up our friendly terrorists in Cuba. It turns out that interrogators are getting tough — maybe too tough for some. One question for you and TIME magazine, who got the documents and made it a huge story: If they had to get tough to save 3,000 lives — maybe even your own — would you still be upset? Thought so.
Look for Michael Jackson legal-speak all week and hopefully an end to the search for Natalee.
