Tropical Storm Boris Forms in Pacific

MEXICO CITY – Tropical Storm Boris has formed in the east Pacific.

Miami's National Hurricane Center says the storm doesn't threaten land.

It is located about 550 miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and has maximum sustained winds of 40 mph.

Forecasters say the storm is moving west out to sea at 9 mph.
