Trial Set to Begin for Alleged Water Balloon Prankster

CINCINNATI – A suspect accused of throwing water balloons off an eight-story building goes to trial Tuesday.

Brandon Meyer, one of three suspects, was charged with inducing panic and disorderly conduct.

Cincinnati police say they believe the balloons were meant to hit people down below who tried to pick up a dollar bill the men had glued to the sidewalk. The alleged pranksters also recorded the prank on video, police say.

The two men charged along with Meyer have their own court appearances scheduled for later in the week.
