Transcript: Where Is Jennifer Kesse?

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, HOST: Police have identified a person of interest in the mysterious disappearance of Jennifer Kesse. The 24-year-old Florida woman disappeared two weeks ago and police just released these surveillance pictures of a man who may know where she is.

Joining us live from Orlando is Sergeant Barbara Jones of the Orlando Police Department, welcome back sergeant.

SGT. BARBARA JONES, ORLANDO POLICE DEPARTMENT: Hey, thanks for having me.

VAN SUSTEREN: Sergeant, the surveillance photos, the two pictures that you have released, she disappeared on a Tuesday, do you know when those pictures were taken?

JONES: I'm not sure. They didn't release that. We do know that they were taken, the stills were taken from some video surveillance in the area where her car was found. Actually the stills January the 24th at Noon and it's like the day after she was reported missing, so it was like the following day.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right, in relationship to her car, how far is the surveillance camera posted?

JONES: Actually the surveillance video was captured at the Huntington on the Greens, which is the condominium complex where her vehicle was recovered.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right, so I mean, the car was recovered about a mile or a half a mile from her apartment is that right?

JONES: Yes, about a mile, if not a little bit more than where she lives at the Mosaic Condominiums.

VAN SUSTEREN: And the picture, just so that I'm sure, is the security camera is posted at her condominium or at the location where the car was discovered?

JONES: Yes, the location where her car was recovered.

VAN SUSTEREN: Have you had any hits on this picture? I mean I know it's been broadcast on the Internet and we're showing it. Have there been any hits people willing to help you?

JONES: Sure, we've gotten some Crime Line tips on it and we're following up those leads. We're doing some technical work to see if we can release additional information but obviously there are some — when a person walks that kind of hindered some of the image but we're just hoping that maybe somebody recognizes maybe the clothing and the shoes and, you know, the hair and we'll get something on it. It's better than what we had. We didn't have anything before.

VAN SUSTEREN: And if it's just an innocent person maybe that person will step forward at least to sort of call off the dogs so you're not distracted by trying to track him down so that would be helpful as well.

JONES: Absolutely.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right, sergeant, thank you.

JONES: Thanks. OK.

VAN SUSTEREN: Joining us live in Orlando is Jennifer's father Drew Kesse, good evening Drew.

DREW KESSE, FATHER OF MISSING WOMAN: Good evening, Greta. Thank you.

VAN SUSTEREN: Drew, there have been search efforts in the last few days. Can you tell us where the search efforts were?

KESSE: From my understanding, well we had over, well close to 1,200 volunteers come out over the weekend to go out and canvass areas and we were able to I believe go out around three to five miles in circumference, so we were able to cover a lot of area. What the detectives were covering I'm not sure of to be honest with you.

VAN SUSTEREN: Drew, have you seen these two surveillance pictures the police have released?

KESSE: Yes, yes I have and it's a big...

VAN SUSTEREN: Do you recognize the person?

KESSE: Not at all, no not at all. It's a huge break for us though to really — someone, again, someone knows something. They have to know this person and if this person recognizes themself (sic), again, the police want to talk to this person so they can get us to the proper person that is holding Jennifer right now.

VAN SUSTEREN: Drew, what do you think has happened? I mean this has been an incredible mystery and a terrible tragedy to boot. What do you think is going on?

KESSE: You know, I'd be total speculation if I said anything but honestly I think maybe it's a case of infatuation. I mean that's all I can think of to be quite honest with you that someone just liked Jennifer but that's, you know, that's just total speculation on my point and hope really.

VAN SUSTEREN: Do you know if she actually got up and got dressed and left the house that morning or whether the night before she could have left the house instead?

KESSE: No, in my heart I believe she got up and left the house in the morning.
