• President Bush is using a Veterans Day speech to counter-attack critics who say he twisted pre-war intelligence to justify the invasion of Iraq. Speaking to veterans and military families at an army depot in Pennsylvania. Wendell Goler has highlights from the speech.
• Then, more than 50 million Americans who have put on a uniform to protect the nation are being honored today. Secretary of Veterans Affairs Jim Nicholson says Veterans Day has additional meaning this year with so many service men and women in harm's way overseas. Bret Baier has a report from the Pentagon.
• And, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice made a personal appeal today for Iraqis to bridge sectarian differences, venturing to a majority Sunni Arab region of the country to ask for cooperation in the coming election. Secretary Rice’s surprise visit is a month ahead of the Dec. 15 elections for a permanent government. Reena Ninan has a report from Baghdad.
• Plus, in a speech Thursday night, Karl Rove gave his first public remarks since the CIA leak indictments were issued. He railed against "judicial imperialism" and said the courts need to get back to the role, which they were intended to serve. James Rosen has the latest from the investigation.
• And, we’ll also sit down with the Weekly Standard’s Stephen Hayes about his investigation into the Senate controversy over pre-war intelligence. Did the Bush administration manipulate intelligence to go to war in Iraq?
