• White House officials acknowledge that the public's gloomy mood about the Iraq war is forcing President Bush to take a more assertive and public role to reassure nervous Americans and Republican lawmakers about the White House plan for victory. FOX News' Carl Cameron reports.
• Coalition and Iraqi security forces captured the leader of Al Qaeda (search) in the Mosul region — Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's most trusted operations agent in all of Iraq. FOX News' Bret Baier reports.
• The Senate's No. 2 Democrat compares the U.S. military's treatment of a suspected Al Qaeda terrorist at the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay (search) with the regimes of Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin and Pol Pot, three of history's most heinous dictators, whose regimes killed millions. FOX News' Jim Angle reports.
• The Orioles have asked the FCC to order Comcast cable to begin carrying Nationals games. The O's and MLB own the Mid Atlantic Sports Network, which has the TV rights in the Baltimore-Washington area. Comcast wants to preserve their right to televise Orioles games on Comcast Sports Net. FOX News' Brian Wilson reports.
