Today marks the end of the president's “60 stops in 60 days” Social Security tour. He spoke today in Northern Virginia, after expanding on his Social Security plan in a press conference on Thursday night. Wendell Goler has more.
And at his press conference last night, the president suggested that his judicial nominees have been opposed because of "judicial philosophy," and do not comprise an attack on people of faith. FOX correspondent Major Garrett interviews a senior Republican Senator on whether negotiations on the nominees will continue, or whether Democrats have seen the GOP's final offer.
Plus, we’ll have an interview with Robert Pozen, the man President Bush cites as the inspiration for his ideas on Social Security reform.
And the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (search) said Thursday he's concerned about the ability of the North Koreans to put a nuclear weapon on a missile that could reach Japan or even the United States. In his press conference last night, the president said he didn't know whether or not that was true, but it was best to assume that they could. James Rosen has a report.
