Atlanta shooting suspect Brian Nichols (search) was in the middle of a trial on rape charges when he allegedly shot four people to death including the judge on the case. The murders have put that case in doubt now.

Would pursuing the rape charge at this point would be a waste of time? We'll ask Nichol's attorney, Barry Hazen.

Plus, how is Michael Jackson's (search) accuser holding up to cross-examination by defense attorney Thomas Mesereau? We'll get a read from our legal eagles:

• Jim Hammer, former San Francisco assistant district attorney
• Jeanine Ferris Pirro, former Westchester County judge and current Westchester county district attorney
• Ted Williams, criminal defense attorney
• Geoffrey Fieger, criminal defense attorney
• Gloria Allred, defense attorney
• Laura Ingle, KFI radio reporter
