Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld (search) made an unannounced visit to Baghdad Thursday to meet with the top U.S. commander in Iraq, Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez, and the U.S. civilian administrator in Iraq, L. Paul Bremer.

Is this a response to Sanchez’ claim that there are too few troops in Iraq to handle a potential crisis? We’ll ask retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney, FNC military analyst, and Gregory Copley of the International Strategic Studies Association.

Thursday night the Democrats who want to be president will hold their first debate. Are any of them real contenders? We’ll get a fair and balanced debate from Susan Estrich, USC law professor and FOX News political analyst, and former Rep. Rick Lazio, R-N.Y.

Are you ready to write your report card? We’ll grade the performance of those running for governor in the California recall race with Bernie Ward, radio talk show host; Kevin McCarthy, California state assemblyman, and Steve Adubato, media analyst.

Plus, there's a controversial hearing in Washington. Is traditional marriage under assault? Does there need to be an amendment to ensure it remains between a man and a woman? We’ll get insight from Dan Smith of the Human Rights Campaign and Genevieve Wood of the Family Research Council.

And, what did Paul Hill have to say moments before his execution and why won't some death row inmates get that opportunity? We’ll ask James Hirsen, death penalty proponent; Dan Perez, civil rights attorney, and Mark Furhman, author of An Expose of Oklahoma's Death Row Machine.
