NEW YORK – The summer movies are finally starting to get here in the bright hot glare of The Foxlight.
The scariest thing about this movie is probably how much money it will make this holiday weekend. Scary Movie 2 has no plot and hits a despicable new low in toilet and gross-out jokes according to Gene Shalit, so you know it's going to be a blockbuster. The Wayan brothers are probably in a big castle just like the one in the movie counting their money.
Prefer to see big stars fight like Cats & Dogs? This is your movie. And a much better one for the kids. The voice of Will & Grace smugster Sean Hayes joins Susan Sarandon, Alec Baldwin, Joe Pantoliano and Michael Clarke Duncan, and the furballs fly. No animals were harmed. But how about Jeff Goldblum's reputation?
Finally, everybody is Kung Fu fighting and star Jet Li choreographed it all. This is Kiss of the Dragon and it costars uber-hottie Bridget Fonda. Jet tells the Foxlight he could take Jackie Chan in a bar fight and from the looks of some of these scenes, he's probably right. Pay-per-view, gentlemen?
