It was a case of the wrong text at the wrong time.

A Florida teen suspected of burglary was nabbed after he text-messaged his alleged accomplice who was being interrogated by police, the Palm Beach Post reported.

Cops were responding to a call about a broken apartment window Tuesday night when they found one of the teenagers sweaty and unable to explain why he was at the location, according to the newspaper.

While they were questioning him, the other boy sent him a text telling him police were looking for him and that he was hiding, authorities told the Post.

After cops saw the message, the teen in custody told them where his friend was.

Both were jailed on burglary charges, according to the report. Neither of their names was released.
