Japanese police say they've arrested a 16-year-old who fooled bar staff into believing he was a wealthy playboy on a night out.

The teen racked up a nearly $3,500 tab, splashing out Dom Perignon and 60 glasses of whiskey. Staff says he sang karaoke with hostesses and had a mature air during the six-hour spending spree. When it came time to pay up, he told the staff he had no money.

That's when police were called into the bar near Tokyo. The boy was arrested on suspicion of fraud. Japan's legal drinking age is 20.
