A Florida prosecutor this week released photos of the tattoos worn by a Tampa middle-school teacher jailed for having sex with her students.

The tattoos of Stephanie Ragusa, 29, were entered as evidence into the case the Hillsborough County State Attorney's office is building against her, according to MyFOX Tampa Bay.

The prosecutor didn't elaborate on details of the tattoos' significance to the charges against her.

Ragusa is accused of repeatedly having sex with at least two teenage boys. Prosecutors claim she continued her physical relationship with one of the victims while she was out on bond — leading to her third arrest on charges of sex with a minor and related offenses.

The prosecutor said it released the pictures at the request of the media; they were described as showing tattoos on the former teacher's body that only an intimate friend or physician might know about.

Ragusa is being held without bond in the Hillsborough County Jail.

Police contend that she has repeatedly had sex with two different Davidsen Middle School students since January 2007.

They said they picked her up in April after they discovered her in bed again with one of the boys, who is now 16, while she was out on bail. It was her third arrest in about six weeks.

Ragusa has been charged with several counts of lewd and lascivious battery and sex with a minor.

She remains suspended without pay from her last job teaching math at Martinez Middle School, according to the Hillsborough County District.

Ragusa was first arrested March 13 and then again April 15 for allegedly sleeping with one of the boys at least 20 times and with the other at least three.

She was charged with driving under the influence in 2005, according to police records.
