There's no better time to shop this season than NOW. It's sale time ladies, and stores and websites are majorly marking down their summer styles. You know I'm always encouraging you to splurge on basics and skimp on trends and accessories and now's the time to do just that. Shop for cute tops, dresses jewelry and bags that will not only add some spice to your summer wardrobe but could even work this coming fall.
Some key items to look for are patent leather ballet flats in bright hues like this season's "must have color" yellow. Pair them with your favorite jeans and a long belted cardigan for an early fall style.
I also love simple dresses that look great with sandals in summer and can be worn belted over leggings or denim when the weather gets cooler. Look for styles in more autumnal colors like wine, jade black and brown.
Tank tops are always a great buy because they can be worn on their own now, or layered in fall. Why not try a tie dyed style or ombre print that will still be hot next season! Or go for something dressier in a bright color that can be worn with white pants now and under a suit later.
And of course, search for bags that are seasonless. Black, brown, gold and silver are all year- round colors that can work season after season! And the most timeless style of all is anything that's good to the environment like a "green" tote from Diane Von Furstenberg.
