Hey, fashionistas.
When it comes to looking fabulous in 2008, there were certain stars who truly stood out on the red carpet. Naturally my attention is always paid first towards my favorite celeb's ensembles, but this year hair made a statement all it's own. Here are my favorite Hollywood hair trends of '08.
Bangs
Stars like Rachel Bilson, Kate Walsh, Katie Holmes and Kim Kardashian sported bangs this past year. The style was sexy, stylish, and chic! While I thought Rachel and Katie looked fabulous, Kate Walsh's style was a tad much!
The Bob
Gwyneth, Eva , Victoria and Katie went for a chop job, and tried the ever popular bob! We love this look especially on Gwyn who was in dire need of a good cut.
Braids
Lauren Conrad, Jessica Alba, and Blake Lively opted for boho-braids instead of tightly pulled back styles. This hippie chic look gets our thumbs up AND vote for one of 2008’s best trends.
Waves
Two of 2008’s “it” girls went for waves this year. Anne Hathaway opted for a shorter cut with loose and lovely curls, while Amy Adams chose sculpted waves at last year’s Oscars. The Gossip Girls were fans too- Blake Lively went for the just-out-of-bed look, while Leighton Meester opted for sculpted curls finished off with headbands and bows.
