Former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer and his wife Silda Wall Spitzer appeared together in public Tuesday as they visited NYU Medical Center in Manhattan, the New York Post reported.
Spitzer, who resigned last month after being linked to a call girl ring, picked up his wife around 6 p.m. ET in a chauffeured silver Lexus sedan in front of their Central Park West apartment.
She sat in the back alone, while he sat up front with the driver. They then headed down to the hospital for a one-hour visit, the Post reported.

The couple exited together but kept their stares straight ahead and didn't touch hands. She walked a step behind him, according to the paper. The only time Spitzer made a motion toward his wife was when he put his arm behind her to usher her out the door first.
Silda smiled briefly when she stepped into the car as a male passerby recognized her husband and offered some kind words. The two men shook hands, and Spitzer then took a seat next to her in the back. They were then driven off, the Post reported.
Meanwhile, Alex Gibney, who won a 2007 Academy Award for "Taxi to the Dark Side," is talking to distributors and financiers about making a documentary on Spitzer, according to a report.
Gibney is shopping what's described as a "feature-length" documentary about "a recent, high-profile sex scandal." According to c21media.net, which broke the story, the "high-profile sex scandal" is believed to be the Spitzer saga.
Gibney received an Oscar nomination for his 2005 documentary, "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room" and he's also done docs on Henry Kissinger and Jimi Hendrix. He declined to comment for the New York Post.
