Boss Bashing?

The International Planned Parenthood Federation, MoveOn.org and other critics of President Bush have announced plans to gather next month for a conference on global health and reproductive rights.

That's not surprising. The groups oppose administration policy on abortion and other issues. But guess who's the main sponsor of the conference? The federal Department of Health and Human Services.

Snap Judgments

The New York Times did a story this week on a member of the Ku Klux Klan. But the Times mistakenly included a picture of Colorado Senate candidate and beer mogul Pete Coors (search).

A Coors' spokesperson said she notified the Times about the mistake, but said the error could have been worse. Her boss could have been identified as John Kerry.
