A 7-month-old boy's club foot is being cured with the help of a mini skateboard.

At first, James Boorah wore the device, which straps to his feet and turns the club foot the right way, for up to 23 hours a day.

Now he only has to wear it at night.

By the time he is 4 years old, it will have corrected the problem – without surgery.

His mother, Amanda, 35, and father, Simon, 39, of Portsmouth, Hants, in England, said they are delighted with their son’s progress.

“Even though James was getting used to wearing it most of the time, he is enjoying his freedom now,” Amanda Boorah said. “He loves being able to kick his legs.”
