Sherri Shepherd Announced as New 'View' Co-Host

NEW YORK – All five chairs at "The View" are finally filled.

Admitting it was "the worst kept secret," Barbara Walters announced that comedian and actress Sherri Shepherd has replaced Star Jones as a permanent co-host on the show.

Shepherd then walked on stage to the tune of "Sherry."

Shepherd was obviously excited to be there. She said "I'm with all the ladies!" and then let out a big scream.

She should feel comfortable in her new job. Shepherd has guest-hosted 23 times.
