Authorities in Guatemala have arrested seven men, including five police officers, for the killing of a prominent lawyer who accused the country's president in a posthumously released video.

A special investigation group says there is "overwhelming scientific evidence" the suspects carried out the hit on Rodrigo Rosenberg.

The International Commission Against Impunity in Guatemala said Friday that other, unnamed suspects planned and ordered the killing.

The government invited the commission to investigate the case.

Rosenberg is seen in a tape released after his death looking into the camera and saying, "If you are watching this message, it is because I was assassinated by President Alvaro Colom."
