A sheriff said searchers on western Montana's Dearborn River are looking for two rafters missing hours after a companion was rescued.

Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Cheryl Liedle said the search began Saturday night. Liedle said a Helena man whose raft capsized was rescued on a bank of the river Saturday night, but another man and a woman were missing.

Liedle told The Associated Press the search included a helicopter that made an emergency landing at night after part of its propeller hit a tree. The sheriff said no one on the helicopter was injured.
