Ryan Phillippe Wishes Happiness to Ex-Wife Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal

Reese Witherspoon's ex-husband Ryan Phillippe says he loves her and wants her to be happy, and he thinks she is with new boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.

"I love her and I want her to be happy, and it seems like she is," Phillippe said Thursday on "The Howard Stern Show," adding that Jake Gyllenhaal is "a good dude."

He and the "Legally Blonde" star's 2007 divorce was a "mutual" decision, he told Stern.

"Leading up to it, we had been spending so much time apart," he said. "That's a huge part of it. There are so many obstacles."

The 33-year-old spent much of his Stern interview denying reports that he hooked up with Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Angelina Jolie.

"I know Lindsay Lohan wanted you," Stern pressed.

"Yeah," Phillippe responded.

Of his "I Know What You Did Last Summer" co-star Hewitt, he said "I did not have sex with [her]," but "It did occur to me."

"She was very young and her mother was there all the time ... but I was in a hot tub with her when she was 18."

Phillippe conceded to Stern that Jolie is "probably" the hottest actress he's filmed a love scene with.

"Is she very sexual?" Stern asked.
