NEW YORK – Rosie O'Donnell has donated $1 million to the American Red Cross to help victims of last week's terrorist attacks.
The talk show host made the donation from her personal account — not from her charity, The For All Kids Foundation — the day after the Sept. 11 attacks in New York and Washington.
"She hopes that other people follow and give what they can, whether it's time or money," her spokeswoman, Jennifer Glaisek, said Wednesday.
