Motorcycle daredevil Robbie Knievel has done it again -- successfully clearing seven military aircraft on the deck of a former U-S aircraft carrier.

The son of motorcycle legend Evel Knievel completed the jump on the the U-S-S Intrepid, a former aircraft carrier docked in New York Harbour.

The ship saw service during World War Two, the Cold War, and the Vietnam War and is now one of the largest maritime museums in the world.

The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum is located on New York's Pier 86, along with the submarine U-S-S Growler and a British Airways Concorde.

Knievel says he had wanted to dedicate the jump to firefighters, police officers and military officials ever since Nine-Eleven.
