The reward for information on the disappearance of north Florida girl Haleigh Cummings increased to $35,000.

The Jacksonville-based Justice Coalition announced at a news conference Tuesday that it was adding $8,490 to increase the reward to help find the 5-year-old who has been missing for a month.

Haleigh vanished from the mobile home she lives in with her father and his girlfriend.

Haileigh's father, Ronald Cummings, and her mother, Crystal Sheffield, tearfully pleaded for the return of the little girl at the Satsuma news conference.

On Monday, Cummings, 24, and girlfriend Misty Croslin, 17, applied for a marriage license in Palatka.

Because Croslin is only 17, she needed consent of both parents. They plan to marry as soon as possible.

Croslin was sleeping in the same room as Haleigh when the girl disappeared.

Despite intense searches and hundreds of leads, no sign of the child has been found.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477).
