George Clooney and his girlfriend Sarah Larson have called it quits after a year of dating, In Touch and People magazine are both reporting.
"George is relieved to be single again," an unidentified source told In Touch. "He thinks Sarah is sweet and that is why it was so hard to break up with her. The truth is they had little in common and he just doesn't want to be tied down."
The Oscar-winning star, 47, recently left his Los Angeles home while Larson, 29, moved her stuff out, her unidentified friend told In Touch.
Clooney's rep declined to comment on the report for both Web sites.
"We do not comment on George's personal life," a rep told People.
Clooney was voted People magazine's Most Eligible Bachelor in 2001.
