It seems Penelope Cruz had the best of both worlds filming Woody Allen’s "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" as she got hot and heavy with real-life beau, Javier Bardem, and screen siren Scarlett Johansson.

While relationship questions regarding Bardem were off-limits at the film’s Los Angeles press day over the weekend, Cruz (who also brought her big dog to the interviews) admitted that kissing Johansson wasn’t anything special.

"We didn't talk about it much, then Woody told us how the shot was going to be, but Scarlett and I don't have any funny stories to tell about it," Cruz said. "It felt [like] nothing, nothing happened."

Scarlett, on the other hand, seemed to prefer her girl-on-girl smooch to kissing Bardem.

"Well, Javier was hairier," she admitted when asked whether kissing Bardem or Cruz was more pleasurable. "I understand the hype around it, but I think it’s just because people are so conservative."

But Javier was a little less comfortable articulating his thoughts on love and women (or perhaps he was just over-protective, as he's dating Cruz in real life). Bardem even had a few reporters booted from his press room for daring to go there.

Back to Cruz, the sexy starlet is ready to professionally move beyond the realm of acting.

"For 17 years I danced; I wanted to be a ballerina and I left it for this. Now I'm going to do a musical, so there I get to use my skills from all those years," she said, adding that she is undergoing vocal training so her singing skills are also up to scratch.

The star-studded threesome reportedly partied up at Whiskey Blue in Westwood following their film’s premiere on Monday night. We’re told Cruz devoted more attention to her BFF Salma Hayek than to Bardem, but the two apparently did sneak away from the soiree together.

Hef Doesn't Want Miley, but Wants Robert Downey Jr.

Hugh Hefner and his "Girls Next Door" partied up at their iconic Mansion on Friday afternoon, celebrating Ashleymadison.com's birthday bash for radio personality Tom Leykis.

During his live broadcast, Hef denied reports that he was seeking out Miley Cyrus to shoot for Playboy when she hits 18. But he did admit that Robert Downey Jr. was his pick to play him in his upcoming epic bio.

Seth Green and Gary Busey were also spotted at the bash and, understandably, Hef's leading ladies kept a close eye on their older beau. After all, the party was promoting the controversial dating site Ashley Madison, which provides an outlet for married peeps to cheat on their spouses.

Earlier this year, the site's Canadian founders (who all happen to be clean-cut, family-oriented men) offered Katie Holmes a free lifetime membership. She never accepted the gift.

Before She Cheats: Did Carrie Underwood Do the Dirty With Romo?

It looks as though Carrie Underwood’s former flame Oliver Trevena still isn’t over the country crooner. According to an insider, the British singer still talks a lot about the break-up, and he claims Carrie had already started seeing Dallas QB Tony Romo before they’d even ended things.

Trevena and Underwood were spotted kissing in Los Angeles in February of last year, but by April the romance between Underwood and Romo was going strong. Reports at the time stated that the singing sweethearts had broken up a couple of weeks before the Underwood/Romo relationship started. Perhaps Underwood just "forgot" to tell Trevena she’d moved on. ...

Nigel Lythgoe Bows Out of 'American Idol'; Dancers Hospitalized

He’s been with "American Idol" since the start, but executive producer Nigel Lythgoe is bowing out of the eighth season to pursue another project with "Idol" founder and "Spice Girls" creator Simon Fuller.

"We are disappointed he will no longer be executive producing 'American Idol,' we are pleased to continue working with him on 'So You Think You Can Dance' and look forward to working with him on his new projects," FOX Broadcasting said in a statement.

But speaking of "So You Think You Can Dance," Pop Tarts has learned that two of the four finalists in the hit reality series were hospitalized over the weekend. The show’s judge Mary Murphy told us that it has been an excruciating season and that the dancers were suffering from exhaustion and dehydration.
