LOS ANGELES – Does supermodel Molly Sims have something against "The Hills"?
Fresh off a flight from New York City, Sims hosted last Thursday’s The Gen Art & Acura TSX Launch Party in West Hollywood. But while the "Las Vegas" starlet was all smiles for the cameras, there was one television star she apparently rejected for a photo.
Spencer Pratt's sister Stephanie Pratt (of "The Hills" fame) also attended the swanky soiree and apparently was starstruck when she saw Sims and "The Office" star Rashida Jones. But we’re told that attempts to get the three of them together for a pic was firmly declined by Sims, who did not want to be associated with the teeny-boppin’ reality show. Ouch.
Looking simply sensational in Alberto Ferretti, Molly instead spent the night in the VIP section, laughing and catching up with Jones and another close friend, actress Becki Newton.
The Truth About Miley’s Older Man
The Internet has been running rampant with rumors that 15-year-old Miley Cyrus is romancing one of her back-up dancers who is seven years her senior. But a rep for the controversial crooner has dismissed reports that she and 22-year-old Marshall are dating, telling Pop Tarts that they are just friends.
Pics of Miley and Marshall canoodling recently surfaced, but we think it is time to give the girl a break. Surely, she is allowed to hug a pal without having to be in a romantic relationship, right?
Olsens Attacked With Dead Hair
PETA launched a campaign last year featuring the fur-wearing Olsen twins with the slogan "Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People."
Because that hasn’t stopped the former "Full House" sisters from donning designer clothes created from dead animals, the organization is encouraging people to send in locks of their hair to be passed on as a gift to the girls for their 22nd birthday this Friday.
Along with the hair, we’re told the "Trollsen Twins" (as dubbed by PETA) will receive a note that reads: "Please, use my hair instead of the animals. Happy Birthday." Talk about meow!
Nicole Richie to Launch Jewelry Line, Upset With 'Copycat' Paris?
When she isn’t busy being a mom, Nicole Richie is busy working on her own jewelry and accessories line, which is set to kick off with a big bash at Kitson Boutique in West Hollywood in August.
But unlike so many other Tinseltown troopers who launch their own lines, Richie reportedly wants hers to be a little more discreet. We’re told that she is not going to use her name in the branding as she wants people to make purchases because they like the pieces and not because of its celebrity association.
Richie’s rep told Pop Tarts that Nicole instead has chosen to name the line after her daughter and it will be called "House of Harlow 1960."
But speaking of Nic’s likes and dislikes, an insider close to the Good Charlotte boys has said she is far from happy about pal Paris Hilton’s budding romance with her fiancé Joel’s twin brother, Benji.
"Nicole is still really angry about it and doesn’t want to hang out as a foursome," the source said. "She and Paris are still friends, but ironically they aren't anywhere near as close as they used to be."
Adding fuel to the fire, the two former "Simple Life" starlets were spotted out at Hollywood’s new hotspot Crown Bar last Wednesday. They reportedly sat at separate tables and didn’t interact at all during the evening.
But we just can’t help but wonder how on Earth Richie has managed to lose that baby weight so fast — the 26-year-old is almost back to her itty bitty pre-pregnancy bod.
But what’s even more annoying is that we’re told the future Mrs. Madden doesn’t work out regularly and her quick trim-down is a result of being busy and breastfeeding. Sigh.
