Hulk Hogan's 17-year-old son Nick Hogan was recently sentenced to eight months in prison after pleading no contest to charges of reckless driving in an accident that left his close friend critically injured. But friends of the “Hogan Knows Best” family are more concerned about his 20-year-old sister, Brooke Hogan, according to our source.

“She’s suffering the worst of all; she just can’t keep it together and has been hit the hardest,” said the source, adding that Brooke is “extremely sensitive” and her emotions are spiraling out of control. Brooke’s relationship with her father was severely strained after his reported infidelity with her former friend made news in February.

While our source said that Nick’s arrest has “brought them a little closer to reconciliation,” it’s not the case for Hulk and his wife, Linda. The estranged couple appeared together at Nick’s hearing on May 9, where Linda even flashed her wedding ring, apparently for the first time since news of the reported affair broke.

“Basically they were trying to put their best foot forward and fake a public image of unity and support for their son,” our insider said. “He [Hulk] is a very astute businessman and very good at playing the media — he even admitted in court that their reality show was scripted and not so real after all.”

But it seems it was his family’s fascination with fame that led to the show getting off the ground in the first place, with Hulk even admitting to Pop Tarts just days before his son’s final hearing that he “warned” them all against appearing on national television.

“I was offered lots of [reality] shows when I was making my career comeback against The Rock, but I kept saying no. But years later, it was my daughter’s career and son’s racing career that we were thinking about.

"We saw the Ashlee Simpson show and Jessica Simpson’s and Lindsay Lohan on the big screen and we just didn’t haven’t a vehicle to compete,” he said. “But I considered it, because this time it was about the Hogan family rather than Hulk Hogan; they all wanted to do it and I tried to warn them about what they were in for. Now look what happened.”

So it seems that their “reality” show could have played a large role in the family’s demise and consequently Nick’s misbehavior.

“Producers will employ whatever is necessary to entertain by creating and exposing drama, conflict and escalated emotions,” said human behavior expert Patrick Wanis, who coached the star-studded family during their VH1 series.

“The constant attention, adulation and power can easily become addictive and overpowering and can lead to narcissism," Wanis said. "The rush of the fame and power can prevent someone from stopping and thinking about the possible consequences of one’s actions.”

Angelina's Peep Show

Pregnant-with-twins Angelina Jolie can't go anywhere without being pap-snapped, so we wonder why she chose to change her clothes on the terrace of the villa she's staying at in Cannes.

According to some revealing photos, the humanitarian hottie flashed just a little too much flesh while switching tops over the weekend, and (naturally) the prying paps with their advanced long-lenses were there for all the action.

Archuleta Took Fellow 'Idol' Finalist Brooke White to His 'Prom'

The day that 17-year-old "American Idol" finalist David Archuleta was meeting with music legend Neil Diamond was the day that all his school pals were going to their prom in his hometown of Murray, Utah.

But it seems fellow finalist Brooke White helped him ease the pain by being his "date" for the day.

"I spent the day with Brooke, so she's the one I danced with for my prom day," he told Pop Tarts after the "Idol" elimination on Wednesday night. "I would have preferred this anyway; it would have been nice to go to prom, but I’m so glad I was here instead. Standing there dancing with Brooke was pretty cool."

Mind you, Archuleta did get other offers.

"[David] Cook also asked if he could dance with me — that was a little awkward," he said. "So I said no."

Ashton Kutcher’s Confession: 'I Wasn’t Thinking When I Married Demi'

She may be 15 years his senior, but there is no doubt that Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore make a magical married couple. However, the “What Happens in Vegas” star says that he may not have actually said “I Do” if he had thought the decision through logically.

“Sometimes the most illogical decisions you make in your life can be the best ones when it comes to love," he said. "In a lot of cases, when you think about things too much you make the wrong decisions."

“I was 25, I was the host of 'Saturday Night Live,' I had the No. 1 show in America, I had the No. 1 show on cable and the No. 1 show on FOX, and I’d just beat out Prince William has the most eligible bachelor in the world," he continued. "If I thought logically, my logical mind would have talked me out marrying a woman with three kids, an ex-husband and a whole different life — but I let my illogical mind and heart talk me into it.”

But despite the unreasoned nuptials, Ashton has no regrets.

“This morning I woke up and finally my logical mind caught up to my heart and I know marrying Demi was the smartest decision I’ve ever made,” he said.

Wait a minute, does this mean Kutcher actually thought at the time that he was the one who was too hot for Demi Moore?

Report: Ashlee Simpson Confirms She's Pregnant

Finally — it seems Ashlee Simpson has come clean and confirmed all those rumors that she's going to be a mama.

After saying her “I Dos” to rocker Pete Wentz in a secret ceremony at her parents’ home on Saturday, the new Mrs. Wentz confirmed what we’ve all been speculating for quite sometime — she’s expecting.

According to OK! magazine, the youngest Simpson sister stayed clear of the free-flowing booze after officially announcing her pregnancy to her VIP guests, which included Nicole Richie and Joel Madden as well as her sister, Jessica, and Jess' (former?) flame Tony Romo.
