Jenna Jameson made a career for herself doing some daring deeds for the cameras, but despite earlier claims of being bisexual, it turns out that there is one thing the former porn princess won’t do — and that’s root for the other team.

"I just got a text from one of my friends on my way over here saying that she wanted to go to bed with me," a disillusioned Jameson told Pop Tarts at last week’s Maxim "Hot 100" bash. "I think one of the big misconceptions everyone — even my friends — have of me is that I’m gay, but I am really not. I’m totally hetero."

Jameson retired from the X-rated industry last year and has since moved into mainstream acting — but she says it's been a struggle to prove herself.

"Being taken seriously as a woman has been the hardest challenge to overcome in show business," Jenna said. "It took me a long time to make my company successful, and even now it isn’t exactly easy."

Her first non-porn flick "Zombie Strippers" received a limited release in April and, well, didn’t exactly bust any box-office records. Jameson also didn’t make the Maxim "Hot 100" list, even though she attended the party. But such setbacks certainly haven’t hindered her confidence in the cutthroat terrain of Tinseltown.

"I rank myself as the hottest," she said. "If I didn’t, I would be lying."

'Mother of the Year' Dina Lohan All a PR Stunt?

Three weeks ago, Dina Lohan made headlines internationally after being named one of Long Island's Top 20 "Mothers of the Year" alongside other star-studded mamas such as Natalie Portman's mom, Shelley Stevens, and Christie Brinkley's mom, Marge Brinkley.

So while the world was questioning why on earth Lindsay Lohan's mama/manager, Dina, would make the list (she has come under fire following her eldest daughter's double romp into rehab and for hitting the club scene too much herself), Pop Tarts has been told that it all may have been a master PR plan.

According to our insider, Dina was thrown into the mix so that the organization could get some international attention and the other honorees would be recognized across the world. Obviously, it worked.

But that's not to say that Dina is a necessarily a "bad mom." In fact she takes all those negative accusations in stride — just as long as the law stays on her side.

"I know I'm a good mother — I have been an amazing mother and I have sole custody of my children, so the system knows I'm good," Lohan told us while promoting her upcoming E! reality TV show "Living Lohan." "But insults like that don't really bother me as much as when they [the media] attack my children."

Although Dina constantly claims that she isn't a "stage mom" (instead she professes to be someone who will always "protect [her] kids more than anyone else in the world") she also said she simply had "no choice" but to make herself the, er, star of a new reality show that shows the trials and tribulations of Tinseltown as her youngest daughter Ali attempts to "make it."

"It hurts and I think we can set the record straight by opening our home and letting people in, which I would never have done or thought about doing," she said. "But I think our backs were up against the wall, and I have no option at this point."

But Dina doesn't want her far-more famous daughter Lindsay to take her share of the 15 minutes of fame that comes with reality television.

"This show isn't about Lindsay — she is a movie actress and I think the press and the tabloids have been so intrusive in her life that I don't think it would be a positive move for her," Dina said, adding that a reality show would be a step back for the troubled starlet.

Kim Cattrall Against People Wearing Furs, Except if You're Homeless

It seems strange that the only people wearing super-expensive fur coats will be those without even a dollar to their name, but that's the idea that Kim Cattrall and the folks at PETA are promoting.

A few months ago, Pop Tarts broke the news that the sizzling "Sex and the City" siren would be donating four mink coats used in the film to the animal-rights activists.

While Samantha may like the look, Cattrall was reportedly concerned about being perceived as someone who endorses wearing fur in real life, when in fact she is adamantly against it.

Kim will be giving away those four pricey little pieces to homeless people and is encouraging others to do the same by calling PETA's new hotline 888-387-2929 (888-FUR-AWAY).

"We can't bring the animals back, but we can give back — to the needy — who have no other means of staying warm next winter," says PETA's Lisa Lange. "These days, the homeless are the only ones with any excuse for wearing fur."

Mind you, Samantha's mink gets splashed with red paint in the new "Sex and the City" movie, so if you happen to spot a homeless person in this one-of-a-kind covering, you know you've just had a brush with fame.

Ashlee Simpson Expecting

Surprise, surprise ... Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have (finally) 'fessed up to the fact they've started a family.

The newlyweds announced on their blog on Wednesday that they "wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm" that they are expecting their first little one after several weeks of speculation.

The couple reportedly accepted a ripe $1 million from People magazine for their recent (shotgun) wedding pics, so who knows how much their first baby snaps will sell for. ... According to our inside source, the bidding war between the weeklies has already begun!

"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child," reads a statement on Wentz's blog. "This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."
