Britney Spears doesn’t appear to be coping well with being “Overprotected” in rehab.
The 25-year-old has been cautioned for using her cell phone and for tardiness as she regularly skips off to go shopping, US Weekly reports.
Despite the efforts of her mother Lynne, ex-hubby Kevin Federline and her cousin Alli, who are constantly visiting and supporting the depressed diva, Brit is far from thankful.
“(Spears) is angry at her family and her manager for pressuring her to enter the program,” a source told the mag. “Britney believes she is suffering from postpartum depression, but does not think she has an alcohol or drug problem.”
Her estranged hubby popped into the Promises rehab facility Wednesday morning with their two sons. Federline and his sons left his house in Tarzana, Calif., in a black Lincoln Navigator SUV, outfitted with curtains to ensure privacy for the 6 a.m. rehab reunion.
While K-Fed may appear to be successfully staying out of the Spears media mess, he is still milking the busted marriage for money.
Fed-Ex has been offering tabloids a $25,000 deal to get exclusive coverage of his upcoming 29th birthday bash at Eleven nightclub in West Hollywood.
However, sources have revealed to the New York Post's Page Six gossip column that the mag that bites the bait won’t even get an interview with the “rapper” himself.
Battle of the Boulevard Blondes
When it comes to golden-haired glamour, Christina Aguilera has “Stripped” out the competition.
The pop princess has topped the list of In Touch Weekly’s hottest blondes, leaving “Legally Blonde” starlet Reese Witherspoon in the dust.
Hollywood hotties Kate Hudson, Hayden Panettiere, Pamela Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow were ”highlighted” next on the list, while flaxen femme fatales Scarlett Johansson, Paris Hilton, Heidi Klum and Gwen Stefani “bleached” out the rest of the top 10.
Apparently, the multi-platinum record-breaker (whose hair matches her success) Aguilera only brings out the dark dye when she is feeling a little black in mood.
Judging from her fair locks lately, Xtina is feeling pretty darn “Beautiful."
Duff Stuff: Hilary Has a Gruff About Joel Madden and Nicole Richie
Hilary Duff's upcoming album “Dignity," due out next month, chronicles the ruins of her romance with rocker Joel Madden and ridicules his rebound relationship with Nicole Richie.
While tracks like “Gypsy Woman” and “Stranger” appear to be taking a “simple” swipe at Richie, Duff lashes out her former flame in the lyrics of her opening song:
"Where's your dignity? I think you lost it in the Hollywood Hills. Can't buy respect, but you can pick up that bill. … Always with Mr. Right, but when you have a fight/Run into your friend's ex, he's happy to be your next/Tomorrow's paper's coming out so kiss him fast, watch the cameras flash.”
A spokesperson for the now 19-year-old “Lizzie McGuire” star has confirmed that some of the tracks are about the “Good Charlotte” frontman and his tiny new girlfriend.
“She (Hilary) has gone through a lot,” the rep told Radar.com.
Hmmm, Duff obviously doesn’t yet feel like the relationship is “So Yesterday."
Lindsay Lohan Rejected by Nightclub
Lindsay Lohan may have fallen off the VIP list.
The wild child and her partying posse were turned away from the classy Hollywood hotspot Hyde on Tuesday night because pop princess Christina Aguilera had rented the entire venue for a private party, X17online reports.
Lohan didn’t make the guest list, and was forced to turn around and “Li-Lo” for once.
What a shame. The 20-year-old “Mean Girl” was all dolled up for a night of dancing and drinking, having been spotted earlier in the evening dying her locks strawberry blonde at Neil George Salon.
But this isn’t the only bout of rejection the 12-stepper has been slapped with lately. Famous foe Scarlett Johansson has taken a swipe at Lohan’s babyish behavior, if you read between the lines.
“I’m not the kind of person who is going to show up to work three hours late, or maybe not come at all,” she told Parade magazine. “That's just not who I am. That just has to do with the fact that I understand that everybody else comes to work and we would all like to get an extra four hours of sleep, but what can you do?"
Lohan came under sharp scrutiny last year when the CEO of Morgan Creek Productions wrote the star a letter of disgust regarding her pitiful work ethic.

Forget Hyde and Teddy’s, the next "it" place is sure to be the home of pop princess Ashlee Simpson.
According to Life & Style magazine, Simpson has spent $100,000 revamping her new Beverly Hills pad into a discotheque, complete with dance floor, state of the art sound system and fully stocked bar.
"Ashlee loves to dance — it's her favorite form of exercise ... and she wants to hold a lot of parties at her new place," a source told the mag.
Simon Cowell Not Sorry for Britney Spears
“American Idol” judge Simon Cowell won’t be offering his support to Britney Spears anytime soon.
The salty singing assessor told the London Mirror that the former pop princess needs to snap out of “the zone,” as does fellow rehab rocker Robbie Williams.
"This whole thing is a total indulgence. Britney and Robbie need to get a grip. We've allowed these people to feel sorry for themselves,” he said.
“I don't know what's going on in Britney's head, but my attitude is, I couldn't care less. She should go back and live with her mum for six months."
Cowell said strung-out stars should follow his lead and visit impoverished parts of the world.
“Go to where I just went, where people really are suffering and then you'll see just how good your life is,” he said.
According to US Weekly, Brit’s family is concerned that the single mom isn’t coping well in rehab and may not make it through the month.
Spears' cousin Alli reportedly visited the star at the Promises rehab facility over the weekend.
"[Her family members] hope that Britney will stay at Promises for a month, but they're nervous she might not last that long," an insider confided to the mag.

Sounds as if screen siren Scarlett Johansson can’t comprehend her womanly sex appeal, as the 22-year-old thinks she looks more like a male.
"I think I look kind of like a boy. I mean, not my body, obviously," she admitted to Parade magazine. “I don’t think my features are entirely feminine.”
One person who definitely doesn’t agree is John Travolta.

“Brokeback Mountain” star Jake Gyllenhaal wanted to make sure everything was “packaged” perfectly on an underwear shopping spree at Bloomingdale's in New York.
A shopper told the New York Post that the actor spent a great deal of time with the salesman “combing through” the briefs and boxers on offer.
“Jake was holding up a pair of tight white briefs that he'd pulled out of the package to examine, as if he'd never seen tighty whities before in his entire life,” said the shopper.
“It was hilarious. He looked very confused and had a furrowed brow ... He was examining undies like an anthropologist."

Beyonce may be famous for her booty, but Down Under, she's having problems with a different kind of butts.
Cancer experts in Australia are lobbying to ban advertisements for the "Dreamgirls" star's upcoming tour, in which she's splashed across billboards striking a passionate pose while holding a cigarette in a long, old-fashioned holder.
Queensland Cancer Fund tobacco issues co-coordinator Catherine Mahony believes the image could encourage young women to smoke.
"There are other ways she can create this image without having to use tobacco products," Mahony told Australian newspaper The Courier Mail.

She and her “Good Charlotte” boyfriend Joel Madden, the recent ex of Hilary Duff, were recently spotted rocking around for rings at XIV Karats, a jewelry store in L.A, and are also reportedly on the hunt for a house to share.
While Nic may have gained the weight of a sparkly ring, she is apparently lacking water weight.
The reality star was hospitalized for dehydration on Friday while working on set of her E! series. She received intravenous fluids for 15 minutes before being released.
"Nicole is home resting and will return to work this evening," her rep said in a statement. "We are proud of the weight that Nicole is gaining and her focus on her health."
Last October, Richie announced she was undergoing diagnostic treatment to help determine why she was having trouble putting on weight. Her rep said that Richie was focusing on nutrition and that she was determined to "achieve this goal in a healthy way."

Speaking of rings, rehabbing Britney Spears was sporting a ring on her wedding finger last Wednesday.
On Feb. 23, "Extra" reported that Kevin Federline made the drive up the hill to Promises in Malibu, the treatment center at which Spears is a patient.

"Brokeback" screen team Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams are apparently finding the “Mountain” of impending marriage difficult to climb.
"They had a huge fight, and they're not speaking," a source told the New York Daily News.
Williams also dismissed relationship questions at New York Fashion Week.
Penelope Cruz: Love Is in 'Bloom'
She may not have claimed the Oscar, but Penelope Cruz certainly didn’t leave the Academy Awards a loser.
The "Volver" vixen and actor Orlando Bloom were reportedly inseparable at Prince’s post-Oscars party, putting on quite a performance in front of other guests, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Ryan Gosling.
"It was crazy! Touching, kissing — even a little bit of groping,” a source told the New York Daily News.
But this isn’t the first time the comely couple have entertained their affections.
Cruz helped Bloom celebrate his 30th birthday at Hollywood hotspot Teddy’s last month, where an eyewitness alleged that the 32-year-old actress never detached herself from her “Troy” boy’s hip. Or lip for that matter.
The two were then spotted "flirting outrageously" over a game of pool at a pre-Oscars bash at the private Los Angeles club Soho House.
“Penelope seemed more than a little smitten and afterward they retired to a corner for drinks — they couldn't keep their hands off each other,” said a Daily News spy.
