Police: Man Fatally Shoots Wife at Utah Church

LEHI, Utah – Police say a man fatally shot his wife Sunday in a church parking lot.

Police say the husband fled the scene, but turned himself in about an hour after the shooting outside The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, where services were canceled.

The woman, whose name was not immediately released, was shot around 11:10 a.m. Officers found her body in the parking lot.

Police believe the motive was a domestic dispute. No other details were immediately available.
