Texas police arrested a convicted murderer who allegedly struck again — this time, his prison pen pal.
Darrell Billingslea, 37, who was released from prison six months ago, fatally stabbed Jessica Rae Lewalling earlier this week, police said.
Billingslea and Lewalling corresponded while the convict was in prison. Lewalling asked Billingslea over to her apartment, where the incident occurred.

Demetrius Cooksey, Lewalling's boyfriend, was stabbed with a kitchen knife.
"He jumped off the couch and attacked me from behind … he done stuck me in my back," Cooksey said. "And I hear Jessica screaming."
Cooksey is recovering from minor puncture wounds.
