GROVE CITY, Pa. – A western Pennsylvania Army wife faces trial on teen sex charges based on an e-mailed confession and apology she sent to her husband in Korea.
Nineteen-year-old Ashley Moore, of Grove City, is charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and corruption of minors for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy.
Police say Moore called and e-mailed her husband stationed in Korea to confess the affair. The soldier forwarded the e-mails to police in Grove City, about 50 miles north of Pittsburgh.
Police interviewed the teen who told them he dated and had sex with Moore.
Moore's home phone is disconnected and online court records don't list a defense attorney.
